WHO IS A TEACHING ARTIST?

Teaching Artist and Community Teachers are industry professionals and community leaders that support teachers and students in learning in-demand and creative new skills to better prepare students for post-secondary opportunities. We are looking for Teaching Artist in film, fashion design, computer programming, virtual reality content creators, audio producers, and visual and performance artists of all kinds. We need Teaching Artist to share your time and talent with students across metro Atlanta during and after school. Students must learn new creative skills that are changing the future directly from artists doing them in the real world. Students need exposure through hands on activities, workshops, guest lectures, apprenticeship opportunities, experiments, interviews, shadow days and so much more \.
